About

Every person deserves to have hope and future

I believe that every single person can grow, change, prosper, have hope and future, as well as to have healthy relationships. The journey of life is a challenge task, and I am committed to helping my clients to overcome their struggles, distresses, and difficulties to fulfill their full potential and their purpose in life, providing the guidance for them to succeed and to bounce back to wellness. I am passionate about helping children, teens, adults, couples, and families. I meet my clients where they are in their life journey to help them to accomplish their therapy goals, weather is to find their full potential and purpose in life, overcome relationship concerns, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, marital conflict, communication problems, parenting challenges, grief/loss, trauma, or abuse. To accomplish that, I provide a meaningful and nurturing environment to clients where they feel safe, heard, and accepted. I work from a systemic and relational orientation focusing on mental health issues within the context they occur. Christian counseling is available upon request. I am Licensed Professional Counselor. I received my PhD in the marriage and family therapy at Texas Woman’s University. I received my master’s degree in school counseling at Dallas Baptist University (DBU), advanced certificate in counseling and advanced certificate in conflict resolution at DBU as well. I speak Portuguese, Spanish, and English.
